Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Terminus is a merchandise damage evidence management system that helps warehouses and stores capture, organize, and share photographic evidence of shipping damage linked to orders.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Terminus only for its intended purpose of documenting merchandise damage evidence. You must not use the service to store illegal content, infringe on third-party rights, or attempt to access another organization's data.

3. Accounts & Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Organization administrators control user access and roles within their tenant.

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you upload to Terminus, including photographs and order records. Terminus does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

5. Billing & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Shopify on a recurring basis; plans are selected and changed on Shopify's plan selection page. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Terminus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our data retention policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
